Following the recent declassification of information relating to a Russian intelligence ship in the English Channel, I was pleased to meet the Armed Forces Minister, Luke Pollard, and Royal Navy personnel and see a piece of Critical National Infrastructure cable that has been cut. The Royal Navy and other security partners are working hard to bolster our defences to protect the underwater infrastructure we and our allies rely on for energy and communications.
